Setting up the SIPURA 3000 for use with FaktorTel.
Step 1
To start, you should first reset the device to Factory Defaults.
Plug the device into the power and into a handset and dial:
**** (four asterisks) then 73738# then press 1 to confirm. Hang up the handset.
(WARNING: This will remove ALL settings from your SPA-3000)
Step 2
Plug the device into the Internet connection. Now, determine what IP address the device received. To do this, you need to pick up the phone attached to the Line 1 jack and dial:
**** (four asterisks) then dial: 110 # and you will be told the IP address of your device (e.g. 192.168.0.100).
Step 3
Download the FaktorTel SPA-3000 Configuration file and SPA-3000 flash tool:

Unzip the tool to a folder and execute SipuraUtil.exe
Step 4
Once the tool is loaded, select Options from the menu and then Configuration. Enter the IP address of the SPA-3000 (the one you obtained in Step 2) and press OK.
Drag the FaktorTel Configuration file listed in the left-hand pane onto the picture of the Sipura on the right hand side and release the mouse button. A dialog box will appear asking you if you are sure you want to write the configuration file. Click the OK button to confirm that this Config should be written to the SPA.
Step 5
Go to any browser equipped computer on your network and enter the address: http://
IP ADDRESS/
(where
IP ADDRESS is replaced by the address that was given to you in STEP 1.)
Step 6
Click on the "Admin Login" button near the top right side of the screen, then click on the "Line 1" tab.
Step 7
Since you've already written the FaktorTel Config to this device, you need to modify only a few parameters. They are listed here:
Display Name: Enter your Full name, this will show up as part of your callerid.
User ID: Enter the faktortel number you were given when you signed up. (Should start with 09)
Password: Enter the password that you were given when you signed up.
Step 8
Click on the "Submit All Changes" button at the bottom of the form.
Step 9
Congratulations! Your device should now be setup on the FaktorTel Network.
